Default Deep Dish Wheels For The S2k

Do any of you guys know what brands and models of deep dish wheels that would properly fit the S2000? When I see s2k owners buying aftermarket wheels, I generally see a pattern of "tuner style" wheels and rarely see the beefy deep dish style...I'm sure there's got to be some out there that fit....anyone with info, please feel free to chime in

My favorite kind of wheels are deep dish types, but I think the issue is the offset, which limits the choices of going with deep dish types.

Offsets are the problem on this car; it's very hard to get deep dish wheels to fit w/out sticking out beyond the fenders.

Sickest dish I've seen is on the rear Volk GT-N's:

Even these do stick out a little though...

Volk GT-7's. The rears have more lip than the front. The fronts have about 1/2" lip.

The unusually high positive offset of the wheels on the S2000 wheels makes deep-dish wheels impossible. Whereas BMW wheels are typically in the +20-30mm range, the S2000 is +55-65mm. That's 1-2" difference. And that's the difference in the amount of lip that the BMW wheel design can have over the S2000.

so basically can it be done or not? I'm sure there's got to be some size/offset that will work... Thanks for all the responses..

^^^ No. You can't have "deep dish" wheels on an S2k unless you want the wheels sticking out inches beyond the fenders.
