Default Dealership chipped my wheels

So it's Sunday and my left rear tire is going flat over time. I found an object that turned out to be a razor blade, so I obviously need to get that patched. None of the tire shops are open here on Sundays, so I had no choice but take it to the Honda dealership. When they're done, they apologized because they chipped the wheel in two spots. They offered to pay for the repairs. From what I remember, they gave me two options:

1. The company will fix the chip and repaint just the face.

2. The company will remove all the paint, fix the chip, and repaint it again.

Those are not the exact words, but the idea? Anyways I would like some thoughts on how I should approach this. If I go with option 2, would the wheel look different from others because the paint won't match exactly? Pretty bummed that they chipped my mint Work wheel, but they apologized and offered to fix it so I'm not very angry. Unless they manage to #$%* it up again. Thanks for any thoughts and suggestions, sorry if this is in the wrong section.

I don't think it will be that difficult for the dealership to repaint the wheel to match that color.

How bad are the chips? As long as they didn't cause any damage to the wheel matte black is an easy fix. Hell I have touched up a wheel with some rustoleum paint before and it matched great.

I would think they would be able to match it. Plus they are so far apart from the other wheel it should not be noticeable. It is not like painting the fender and not matching the door that is right next to it.

Thanks for the replies, one less thing to worry about. First time for me going through this situation. I'm just worried about selling these wheels when the time comes. I know there are people who are pretty anal about it

i honestly wouldn't try to get them to match. i had a hypersilver wheel that got damaged, repainted, repainted, repainted, they couldn't get close to motegi's hypersilver. sold the car shortly there after. i'd contact work about getting touch up paint. or the rustoleum idea.

its matte black so it should be easy, "hypersilver" seems to be a unique code thats hard to match?

If they have someone good you'll have absolutely no problems. I work at a dealer and have seen them repair a g35 rim that was curbed all the way around the rim, when they finished I couldn't tell which wheel they repaired.
