Thumbs up CR Wheels

SO I have an '08 CR, and when I get home in the spring of 2010, I have only a few mods to do:

window tint
alarm
springs

and:

WHEELS

I want to either chrome the factory wheels or bronze powdercoat them. Does anyone have a set around? one of mine has minor curb damage and I want to be able to put the car back to stock, so I need another set.

Thanks

For the love of God and all that is holy, do NOT chrome them. Adds weight, looks absurd.

If you aren't looking for opinions, shouldn't you have just posted "need a set of CR wheels" in the Want to Buy forum?

Chrome-plated aluminum wheels is one of the best ways to proclaim to the world "I'm a douchebag!".

FWIW, I had chrome-plated aluminum wheels (done by p.o.) on my, get this, purple Z28 convertible a while back. So, yeah, I too am a douchebag so don't take it personally or anything.

Do what you will

BTW, any shop that is going to chrome them or powder them will be able to sand out any minor curbage.

-Asking is anyone has another set does not open the floor for pointless opinions

-I think that my friend must have that Camaro now....

-Thanks for the info, ill have to see if a shop can take the scratch out, but i'm pretty sure that my wife did the curb damage to the fullest if you follow me...

Then delete this thread and post a WTB in the for sale thread.
