Default CR Tire sizes better on OEM AP1 Suspension?

So I picked up a set of AP2V1 wheels form my MY2000 and I have been researching tires sizes carefully. People generally seem to agree the OEM AP1, especially 2000-2001, setup is biased to oversteer. This has to do with the rear spring and swaybar bias plus other factors (tires). It seems the general cocensous is AP2 cars are more nutreal/understeer and even though the limits are high the CR has a pronounced tendency to understeer. This could be because of the CR tire size bias.

So typically most people recommend going with AP2 stock sizes on AP2 rims or going plus one in width 225/255. No one really advocates for the CR sizing. Since the CR is known to under steer and early AP1s are know to over steer, mayber the CR sizing is ideal for an AP1? Lets look at some data. Here are the specs for the OEM tires from TireRack.

With the 225/45R17 in the front the car will not understeer as easily. Most people do go with the 225 over the 215 in the front. If I can help let me know.
