Default Could we get a Sticky?

I'm sure this info is out there...but maybe we could make a sticky out of it and make it very easy...

can we just get the correct offsets (or offset "ranges" that would be acceptable) for different rim sizes.

Fronts, and Rears...

16x7
16x7.5
16x8
16x8.5
16x9
16x9.5
16x10

17x7
17x7.5
17x8
17x8.5
17x9
17x9.5
17x10

18x7
18x7.5
18x8
18x8.5
18.9
18x9.5
18x10

Now I think all that matters when you talk about offsets is the width? But I wasn't sure so I put the 16's-18's (only sizes I think should go on an S)...19's ehh bling when it aint a bling car

So ya, if we could sticky the possible offsets of these widths, that would be great.

Example on a 2g Eclipse to run a 8" wide rim you need between 38-42mm offset 40 being optimal... so if we said 17x8" is 38-42...instead of just 40, in order to reduce the number of people asking is 38 OK etc, etc

If the rim width will rub, regardless of offset, or if rolling fenders is necessary...right that in as well...so say if 10 or 10.5" just wont work, write 10.5"+ will rub regardless, or 10" must roll fenders, will rub, offset = XXmm

Ok...now all you smart knowledgable guys, you could just throw all the info in here if you want, then we can consolidate it into a single thread later.

Also, please don't say only say what offset worked for you...we need the correct range of offsets that will work for anybody.

true ya...I thought about that...maybe the more experienced people could also add that...but then of course there are also different tire sizes, etc, etc...and not all rims are made the same (some might be a little bit off)...but at least having the offsets would be a start.

I know that my car is dropped with KG/MM's I don't know how wide I could go with out rubbing...but maybe that can be answered...

If you have the right offset though, then rubbing shouldn't be a problem because the wheel is tucked behind the fender...but then you could also only go so wide before it starts to stick out.
