He did mention it is not a track car. I think it is going to take a lot of body modification but If that is what you like it is his car. There does come a time when the extra weight of the tire and extra diameter are not going to help the performance of the car. But it is going to be a street car who cares.
If I can help let me know.

We have a buddy/customer of ours that is running 295/335 on his set up. SCCA Solo monster but it will have a custom wide body kit and it also will be running a LS1 V8 so it will have 350+ torque.

Lol again someone that clearly has not seen this guys build thread. A lot of work is an understatement. I imagine if he ran a similar tire to what the viper runs he would never have an issue with traction yet still have tires you could use on the street.

Corey you may want to post a link to your build thread.

What is allowed: running 300+ mm tire section widths.
What is not allowed: using the word "thread" when referring to a tire's tread, particularly when what is being referred to is section width, anyway.

[edit]1,000 pardons, please. I'm an ass! And rolling on 205/225s, so possibly feelings of inadequacy made me eager to see failings in others and misinterpret the title of this thread!

What is not allowed is you highjacking a THREAD about tire TREAD. His title says thread which is what this is.
