The DW's will outgrip the DWS's in every condition that does not involve sub freezing temps and/or snow.

I've got about 10000miles on my DW and absolutely love them. They are very quiet on the highway and Are very stable in HEAVY rain. The s2k did not feel one bit nervous when going 65 vs the potenza re050s I had. I also love the fact that they grip extremely well. I'm definitely a continental DW convert and the results definitely prove it. The Dunlop sport max tts are just as good if you ask me,you can't miss with either.

If you do have cold weather to deal with the DWS would be the best option. If not the DW will give a lot better handling. The DWS will also give you longer tread life.
If I can help let me know.

Jim, I am looking at TireRack.com and you guys have a back order on these??? Dang I need new tires asap. I was in a toss up between Star Specs and Kuhmo XS, I'm glad I saw these in a magazine I was reading while at work (Maxxis International) that reminded me to take another look at them again. I'm glad I did because these look very convicting to me. I think I'm sold on these tires. Quiet, life tread, grip for dry and wet FTW!

I might pick up the DWS's then since this upcoming winter the S2000 might have to see some heavy winter driving
Hope the price and ratings are worth it!
