Continental ExtremeContact DW is discontinued
I just called Continental and they told me that the Continental ExtremeContact DW is discontinued(at lest the size that I use).
That was a damn good street tire.

245/45-17 out back. The DW is a very good street tire, now I'll have to find something else to run out back after the ones I just bought(should get them Friday) wear out. Maybe the 255/45-17(26" tall) will fit and not rub? and 225/50-17(25.9" tall)up front? I run 245/45(25.7" tall) and 235/45(25.3" tall) now and really like the way the car rides and handles on the street with this set up.

In my case, I wanted a tire that would lift the car a little. I put over 35k a year on my "S" on all sorts of roads(yes even dirt) and I got tired of scraping my front bumper on the crap that's on the road or the tire bumps in parking lots. I thought I would lose some handling but the car still handles great on the street(I do have larger sway bars). I get better tire mileage, gas mileage is up and the ride is a little softer with the taller sidewall. If my car was ran on the track I would set it up differently but I don't, so I set it up to have fun but to lessen the chance of tearing up the front of the car or taking out my oil pan.
