Default changed tires, car handles like crap - why?

My rear tires recently wore out. I swapped the rear left out a month ago, then swapped the rear right tire out last week. Each wheel was balanced individually when I bought the tires. One is a Toyo, the other is a Kumo. The front two tires are Potenzas. The dealers I went to didn't have potenza tires. The size on the rears are 225s as they should be.

But now, especially at speeds above 60, the handling seems..... looose, slippery, mushy. Feels almost like I'm driving on a near flat tire. Almost feels unsafe.

Before the new tires the car drove like it was on rails. Now, while there is no pulling or vibrations, it just isn't the same. I'm constantly making minor steering corrections.

In a nutshell, its no longer giving me that "driving on rails" feeling at all. WHY?

Is there an alignment issue I need to check? Please give advice....

Mismatched wrong width tires. Do your self a favor, buy some 245/45 performance tires that match.

I agree, you need to get matching tires on the car. Go with a 245/45R16 on the rear if it is an aftermarket tire. What you have now is just bad.
