Default CE28 flat center cap fitment?

Hey guys just wondering if anyone else who bought the type A flat center caps had issues getting them to fit properly? They seem to be the appropriate size but when I ran outside to try slapping one in on my lunch break (they just arrived this morning) it wouldn't stay in. The diameter seems fine but no go, anyone else have issues?

Thanks

Very interesting. I bought a set of CE28s from a member a couple months back... Noticed that two of the flat center caps didn't fit as snug as the other two. The tight ones had 2010 dates on them, while the ones that were a little more loose had 2012 dates. I think it just came down to o-ring sizing. I put a couple different o-rings on the two, and they were perfectly snug.

After trying again tonight, I agree it's the o-ring that's the issue. Mine are stamped as 2013 but I don't think the year they were made matters, it's just tht thicker o-ring. Took it off and it fits with the smaller thinner o-ring but not fully secure. Will have to find a thinner o-ring or an alternative option.

Depends on the wheel offset. The low offsets won't fit flat caps in the rear. Will hit the hub nut.
