Default Carbon Fiber Wheels

They're really expensive, but light as hell; 8.5 lbs. Apparently they have seen them knock half a second off 0-60 times, although no mention of the weight of wheels they replaced.

i dont see how that works. its still cf wrapped right?

not to mention ugly as hell.

No it's actually solid cf I believe(but may have a space age core). I'd buy they *could* be a strong as is claimed....

it's only 12K or so....

i dunno, from reading the entire post its a pure CF Drum with magnesium spokes. doesnt sound like it's wrapped around anything, except itself

Its not cf wrapped it is a aero grade cf it is stronger than most rims .
Those are 19 and they are lighter than 14 in volks

They're on an NSX, so presumably stock NSX wheels or something similar?

They look a bit unusual, but given they can make the spokes, which are magnesium, look however you want, a good looking set should be possible.

Presumably if one were just going for looks, one wouldn't spend $3000 a wheel, anyway.
