^^ I don't like the ES100's. It doesn't grab enough for me - making my rears kick out a bit too much. I'm using ES100's right now actually.

I want something grippier so I don't oversteer so much.

u warming them up too?

sounds to me like ur VERY novice.. thinking proxy 4 are better grip than AVS es 100.

better grip.... run like some compound tires..

im sorry but theirs no ways ur properly pushing your tires to the limits.. w/ 245 avs in rear..

if your ass is sliding now w/ 245's then learn to clutch better and drive better.

also what stagger setup are you running? ur saying ur oversteer prominate.. so then make the fronts 205's and rears 245's and then warm em up prior to driving hardcore

also. if ur gonna be obstinate.. dont change the series of the tire.. change the width to a little wider.

i.e. 255/45 or even 265/45 is a better choice than a 245/50

maybe try a 265/40 if anyone makes it still.. maybe a bridgestone.. or 255/40

An OEM rim will be hard pressed to accommodate these sizes. Other compromises will have to made. Not worth it.

Go with a 225 that has the same wideness as stock. It is true most 225's are much narrower than our stock 225 SO2's however if you check the specs carefully some 225's are just as wide. You don't have to go 245/45 when going non OEM if you check the specs, specifically tread width on a comparable sized rim and section width to a lesser extent.

I'm running 225/55R16's in the front and 245/45R16's in the rear.
AVS ES100.

Sock, I know what I'm doing - I know how I like my tires. Thanks for the triple post, but it doesn't really help me.

I know the Falken Azenis are wider than other tires of the same size. eg. Azenis vs ES100's. That's why I was thinking about maybe 225's in the rear in Azenis.

But as Viper said, the stock rim doesn't really fit anything bigger than a 245, so there's no point in fitting a wider tire than that. I used to run 235's on a 7.5" rim.. it was really pushing it, and I wasn't able to use the whole width of the tire.

225 Azenis it is.

Thanks again guys.
