Can you run S-02's with the tread backwards?

actually I do have the beads on the right front. And according to my instructor I apparently melted the outer edge of the S02's a little.
But if I swap them, that outer edge should be on my outer facing side. So it'll probably be most noticable on right turns?

As I said, I've run the S02s backwards and forwards, and they work just fine (in the dry) either way. However, the actual first laps or two when you switch over require a bit more margin to the limit until you get the feel for anything that might be behaving differently.
I found it most noticible in hard braking, such as the T2 braking zone at PR.
