Can you run S-02's with the tread backwards?

oh...
hmmm..

actually I do have the beads on the right front. And according to my instructor I apparently melted the outer edge of the S02's a little.

But if I swap them, that outer edge should be on my outer facing side. So it'll probably be most noticable on right turns?

You have to have melted the tires a LOT before this would be an issue. But take it a little easy any time you do anything to change the car around. Feel your way back into confidence.

As I said, I've run the S02s backwards and forwards, and they work just fine (in the dry) either way. However, the actual first laps or two when you switch over require a bit more margin to the limit until you get the feel for anything that might be behaving differently.

I found it most noticible in hard braking, such as the T2 braking zone at PR.

We have actually tested directional tires run backwards and the only problem is standing water. In the dry there was no difference and just wet roads there were no difference.
