Default Blew a tire, width of tire and height? asap

these are the information i have gathered

Krazik mentioned

If you are not running the OEM tires on the rear of the S2K, you should be running a 245/45/16 in the rear.

Our stock 225 is NOT a real 225 and has a 8.5" contact patch which is the same as just about all other 245's out there

That's why people recommend 245/45/16 for non-oem rears (I was among some of the first to preach this)...to compensate for the fact that other 225/50/16 brands have a hard time measuring up to the oem 225/50/16.

Try searching for a 225/50/16 tire that's tread width is wider than 8.5 inches, going to be as sticky, and is going to have skinny water channels. You won't find many bud...

Our S02's are not (P)ole (P)ositions! There is a difference between S02 and S02 PP!

S03 in a 245/45R16

i need oem specs for the car, i was reading that the stock 225/50/16 are not the same as the rest of the tires. my car is lowered 2 in, in the front and 1.5in in the back. a suggested tire size that everyone is running instead of the 225/50/16 is 245/45/16. is this for the s02? or is this for any tire? is this for s03? i need info asap, im going to purchase tires tommorrow. so any information will be appreciated. i have pictures of my car lowered too so i will be posting that.
any help any one?

No the 245/50R16 will not fit. They are too tall.
