Ha, it's ok! Probably going to pull the trigger on the Comp 2's then and sell the A/S version.

My next tires will definitely be the new Firehawk Indy 500 (Not to be mistaken with the older "Wide Oval" versions". They seem to be getting really good reviews on different forums and TR reviews. Iirc, they're the updated successor of the RE760 and called RE003 outside of the US (RE760 were RE001 I think...so it's actually a 2-gen or 10-year newer successor). For na Ultra (300-350UTQG) tire, they got some pretty huge tread blocks pattern, as beefy as Max or even Extreme tires. The test results of these scored better than the Comp2's as well (which is hard to beat in the Ultra category).

Good point, and they're cheaper than the BFG!

Just wanted to chime in. I picked up the comp2 A/S. Got 50 bucks off a set of 4 at costco. I dont have an s2k yet, but Ive got a G35 that I daily with these on. I would absolutely no qualms running these in a funday autocross. 2 weeks in, and the grip is just amazing, even in the wet. I feel like I stole these tires for the price.

BFG has typically been a good value. They're owned by Michelin. From what I've seen, some of the technology does trickle down.
