Given that most of us get much longer tire wear than you described, I suspect something else is amiss here.

From what I saw they wore evenly. I wish i knew, if there was something that i know can be changed, I would do it to get more tire life.

So here are some pics. No BS, I bought the car in January of 2010, it had 35k miles on in, put new tires on in May of 2010, so at this time the care probably had about 38k miles or so, and I literally took the ap1 wheels and tires off a week and a half ago. Car is almost at 65k miles now. Here are pics:

All 4 tires, ap1 stock sizes, stock alignment. you can tell where one rear tire had more wear due to slight overinflation:

One of the front tires:

The two front tires:

Bald rear tire, only due to overinflation, as you can see it is worn in the middle:

The good rear tire:

Good rear tire again:

How much does your SO weigh?

Just kidding. Seriously--thought maybe your tires were mounted backwards-possibly leading to higher wear.

So after taking a good look there is uneven ware this is about 15k + on it I think. Someone told me it might be my LSD but is there anyway to tell. I don't think alignment can mess it up that badly?

Alignment can so mess it up that bad. I had bad toe on my last car after a horrible alignment and damn near ate through a set of 360 rated tires in 2000 miles to where you could actually see courds.

geoff do you weigh over 200 lbs? My guess is you are well over. That, or your alignment has not been done in a while.

It ain't the driver weight. Does anyone really think that 2% additional load on the tires will give appreciably more wear?

Rear toe. You have too much. Have it set to 0.2degrees to 0.3 degrees total (or ~1/16" to ~1/8" total).

FWIW, I'm at 18k on RS-3's (140 treadwear rating) with 2 to 3/32 remaining before the wear bars. Should get 23k out of them.
