I'll always buy from Tire Rack when I can. They provide an EXTREMELY valuable service actually testing tires and providing objective information on how they ACTUALLY perform.
They also sponsor this forum.
Brief glance at prices shows Tire Rack to be slightly cheaper without shipping, slightly more with shipping.
Personally, I'm glad to pay a few bucks more for tires with shipping because they provide a a lot more than just TIRES.

I have had nothing but good experiences with TireBuyer and the research i did nwhen i bought tires for my Kia showed me they were cheaper than Tire Rack. Free shipping is golden on something like tires and i got mine the next day!

Personally I find the best way to do it is this. Go to your local discount tire, they will price match tirerack and order from them directly for you if they don't carry the tire. This includes free shipping, mounting and balancing, and warranty coverage if you happen to get a flat that's unpatchable. I've done this for my star specs in the past.

Tirerack all the way. CS service wise, Jim has been great and has kept me coming back because of his help with my S2k and GT-R. Not only that, but when looking for tires for the GT-R, I found that tirerack has a better tracking system on their tire inventory. When shopping around, called several places to see if a certain tire was in stock and they weren't, but on their site they were.
