Best tire sizes for genuine lm's
I just picked up a set of genuine 18" lm's and was wondering what the best tyre size to run on them would be.
Wheels are: -
18 x 8 +40
18 x 9 +40
The intention would be to roll all four arches just in case.
Will there be problems with the offset being 10mm out do we reckon?
Thanks in advance

You would need to roll yor fenders at these widths/offsets regardless, but if you are lowered, 215/245 if you want to air on the safe side. You will need a good amount of camber to run 225/255

Yeah you will have to roll the fenders and relo the tabs. Tire sizes junky suggested are perfect. I would maybe say do the 215 front and 245 rear at first just to give you that little bit of extra clearance and then you can better judge if the 225/255 setup would fit fine. I would think it shouldn't be a problem.

I have about the same wheels, car is lowered with -30mm springs
Front: 8x18 ET40 with 215/40 tires, no rubbing, fenders not rolled
Rear: 9x18 ET42 with 235/40, no rubbing, fenders rolled, GEO unknown since i havent touched the car. But inside of tires wears kinda fast.
I´m actually looking to sell mine for stock AP2 wheels, also gonna get alignment checked

Like others have mentioned it will take some work to make them fit. Stay on the narrow side for the tires and run more negative camber. I also like the 215/40R18 and 245/35R18. If I can help with the tires let me know.
