Best offset for 18" wheels
Hi guys,
I'm planning to get a set of 18" RE30s for my s2k, but I'm stuck with the offset problem since I'm no good with it.
Looking to run 18x8.5 (most likely) or 18x9 all round. I don't want a VERY aggressive offset, maybe just parallel to the fender or sth similar?
Any ideas for me or some pics pls?
Thanks a lot!

18x8.5 => 52 offset
18x9 => 50 offset
You will surely need to roll fenders/etc. for tire clearance.

+56 here with 18x8's and 18x9's with no problems. Make sure you allow for the tires as well in your decision making. Have you researched your options using the tire/wheels sticky?

This is the best I can do for now, I'm out of town and cannot access my other pics.
These are the wheels and tire set up when I purchased them.

My tire sizes, 01R bridgestones.
255/35-18 rear
225/40-18 front.

I'm running 7.5" fronts w/53 offset and there's room to spare.
8.5" rears with 73 offsets and I had to roll the fenders plus grind off the mounting tab for the inner liner to make my 265s fit.
If you go in the low 50s for your rears you'll compromise or limit which tires you can run.

yea that doesn't make any sense... I have 18x9+65 with 265 RE050s in the rear and I have never rubbed, even when my car didn't even have a full finger gap in the rear (although I do have 2.5 degree camber).
I also didn't rub with 18x9+55 w/255 T1rs. I had about a 1.5 finger gap (stock camber)
