bent wheel
hit a deep sunk man hole at around 60km/h and it bent the SSR GT2
heard a few incidents with SSR already on other forums, would Volk be stronger?
I was told forged wheels can't take as much impact but do you think it I had a Volk forged, the bend wouldn't have happened?

Forged wheels are stronger and lighter than cast wheels. It's your low profile tires, that cause it to bent. You got to remember when running low profile tires you got to keep the psi at around 35 psi. Over inflate and under inflate will cause it to bent.

if you hit a huge pothole with a low profile tire, you're gonna bend the wheel. Not much you can do about it. Buying one new wheel is a lot cheaper than a new set.
