I love the look of porsches/bmw bbs wheels. I lowered my my previous 03' Acura CL, and my 00' and 99' teg. After burning through tires due to uneven wear on the 19s I had on there and rubbing issues, I am werry about lowering this car now. I know the bigger the wheel the more funny it looks. I was thinking should I get 17s or to not be a wuss and go with 18s? The stock 04' wheels look good but these really isnt a lip on them the give the illusion of them being smaller than what they really are. I am afraid that a 17" wheel with a monster lip will bairly look aftermarket.

Does anyone know of pics of these on a GPW?

Thanks for any input or advice!

well the first two you won't find on an s2000 well at least not for a month. that is the RS-GT which they dn't make the correct offset for the S2000 unless you do some major fender rolling. the reason i say you won't find them for at least a month on one is because i ordered a set of these in the closest offsets they had. a 50+ front which will fit perfect and a 48+ rear. and rolling the fenders like crazy but i will be the first and only with that rim. the second ones are the RG-R's which you will find on a good deal of S2000's since they make the perfect offset. i personaly already have them. in the second color you showed in your pics which is diamond black. the first one is the bright silver which i have only seen on 1 S2000 and it was a jdm tuning house car. i don't think anyone here has them because they are custom order color. you can see the second one on a white car pm MAV he has them here in FL. if you are going to the super meet you will see both our cars in person. here is a pic of mine.

You are not going to get a wheel with a monster lip on a S2K. The offset is way too high. I do think the car does look better lowered but you would be fine with 17" or 18". It is all just personal preference.
If I can help let me know.
Thank you

I was at some store this morning to get some prices on some bbs's and they guy said when he called that they said they dont make any 17" wheels with the right offset, only 18". I think it sounds stupid to me.

John,
I was playing around on tirerack and wheels and tires with 17"s came out to about $2300 before tax and shipping and $3100 for 18"s! Wow! Big difference. That is with cheep tires too. Might have to settle with the 17" or save up a little and check back with you and see if you still have those other rims. Yours is lowered right? Can you let me know of any problems?
