Default BBS vs VOLK

I was comparing both wheels as to quality and craftsman ship. Both seem to be very well built. I was looking at the BBS RGR and the VOLK SF WINNING. Anyone
have experience with these wheels, or BBS and VOLK in general.

Thanks

Bill

I've had both, I ended up selling my 18" BBS RG-Rs in favor of 17" Volk CE28s.

Comparing a forged BBS to a forged Volk you won't see much difference. They are both well made, strong and lightweight. All of the forged BBS wheels are made in Japan, as are the Volks.

The advantage Volk has is that they make wheels with the perfect offset for the S2000...but you have to get 17" CE28 or LE37 for the right offset. The Volk wheels are also lighter than the BBS, and you can get more color choices here in the US.

every wheel has an offset, be it positive or negative. the 17" volks can be bought in a variety of offsets, 2 of which (1 offset for the front, 1 for the rear) are ideal for the s2000, which requires high offsets.

send a pm to one of the vendors from this site that deal in volk products; they will make sure you get the correct wheels for your car.
