BBS LM 18x8 and 18x9.5
I'm thinking of picking up a set of 18" BBS LM wheels from a friend to put on our 2006 S2000. The wheels are 18x8 in front with +50 offset and 18x9.5 in rear with +55 offset.
I've heard some say that these should fit with no problem; others have said I would need to roll the rear fender, which would makes me uneasy on a brand new car. Can anyone with this application or something similar comment on whether fender modifications were needed?
The car is not (and will not be) lowered, by the way.
Thanks in advance for any assistance!

They do fit but depending on the tires you choose it may require a fender lip roll or you can adjust the rear camber. If you run a 215/40R18 and 245/35R18 they would fit no problem. With the 225/40R18 and 255/35R18 you might have some rubbing on certain tires.
If I can help let me know. I do have the wheels in stock.
Thank you,

Thanks for the quick reply Jim. What is your price for the 18" BBS LMs?
Also, what would I give up (if anything) by going with the 215/40 and 245/35 tire sizes in lieu of the bigger sizes? I really would prefer not to do any fender work...
I received the tires I ordered from you, by the way (M3 winters for the S2000 and Yokohoma Avids for my GTI) - thanks again for all your help.

And what do you mean by adjusting the rear camber? That would allow the larger tires to fit? Would it cause the tires to wear faster?
Pardon my ignorance, but thanks for your help.

I ran a 18x8 +50 with a 225 tire and a 18x9 +55 with a 255 tire. I rubbed at stock height and stock alignment only under severe compression (driving on the Dragon and Route 26) a few times. It was more in the front too which you aren't even worried about. With more neg camber I don't think I would have rubbed but to be safe you can use the 215/245 tire combo. I sold that wheel combo to Rogue3308 and i don't think he ever rubbed them.

Jim -
I notice you only have one set of tires listed in the smaller alternate 18" size you suggest above (BF Goodrich G-Force).
Aside from differences inherent to the tire itself, would I lose (or gain) anything by going with the smaller alternate size?
Since you only show one tire in this size, I may need to buy a set and store over the winter in case it is no longer available a few months from now. Your thoughts?

Dipietro Tire on Westerville Road south of 270. They've done s2000's including mine, have all the latest equipment and they are only $69.99. They really took the time to get mine all the same. Another shop I used would just get the specs close and quit.
Honda Marysville is also good. Just a lot more expensive and much further away for me.
I have a copy of the specs. PM me your email address and i'll email it to you.
