Smile Bad rim?

About a month ago I got a flat. thats what I thought. Anyways they fixed it at a local tire repair place. Aftare a few days, a flat again. I took it again but this time they could not find the puncture or leak. I left the place and headed to a near firestone where they told me the air was leaking between the rim and tire Now I was lost even more. They used some special sealant and told me that it should be fine now. After a week the tire loses pressure again. WTF? at this point Im about to run the car into a canal. I took it again and they told me that the tires had to much tear & wear and that I needed new tires "pronto". So I ordered new Falkens 255 for the rear (btw this is the rear passanger with the problem) and decided to park the car until my new tires arrived so I didn't have to deal with the suffering any longer. When my tires arrived I took them to Firestone where they munted and balanced them, that was this past Monday. Im a happy guy at this point, until yesterday morning I feel the car a little funny and when I checked the pressure it had dropped to 17 psi. At this point I can't think of anything, can it be the rim? I don't think because I've had the car for almost a year and never hit the rim with anything. Im so WHat do u guys think this is? Anyone had this happen? I might go to the dealer and let them know because its really irritating me.

Thanx
Brute

You have a bent rim. (95%)
You have a leaky valvestem (5%)

How can the rim be bent? Its like new!!! I will have the dealer check it out, hopefully the warranty will cover it.

Thanx.

Oh the valvestem was changed when the new tires where installed.

I hear that all the time.....I didn't hit anything. It doesn't take much, consider the road construction, potholes, manhole covers etc that can cause problems...

If the rim was bent, they would have seen it when mounting. Stop going to Firestone.

A bent rim would really throw off the balancer machine. You would have like a pound of weights on the one part. I think they would find that fishy.

Is the car garaged? You think someone might be messing with you???? ie. letting the air out?

I already made sure it was not someone messing with me I got to many friends that can't live without a joke but I got that end covered. I will just take it to the dealer as soon as I can and make them check it out and replace the rim if anyting is wrong with it. Does the warranty cover this?

Probably not since they arent the stock tires and someone else has swapped them.
