I run 225/255 on 17x8 and 17x9 great tires.

i too am using 225/255

i dont like the look of the extra thickness in the front. car handles great, but i might go with 215 in the front next time. 255 in the back look seriously fat from the rear.

seriously fat as in: " daaam , that looks Phat yo!" or "Eww, fat obese tires." would you nave any pics of your car with those on?

I guess what im trying to do is try and get as close to stock size as i can.

The stock RE050s are notorious for having a narrower tread than most aftermarket tires, about a half inch difference. I read somewhere here that a 215 RE050 can be compared to a 205 after market tire. About 6.5 inch tread.

Maybe the 205/40 & the 235/40 615s would match up to the stock sizes? What do you guys think about this combo?
