yes, no, maybe so? Falken recomends 215/45 & 235/40 for the s2k on 17's but im not sure if they are basing that on stock AP2 wheels. Any thoughts?

Gripstyle,
I'm running 215/45/17 f and 255/40/17 r. They seem to have more grip than the stock SO2's. I have 17x7 et 50 f and 17x8.5 et 63 r SSR GT-7 (no rubbing with 1/2 in. drop). I think Falken recommends at least an 8.5 in wide wheel for the 255's, but maybe you can squeeze them on 8 in. wheels.

Yah I was looking at that earlier. Are you running those on stock AP2 wheels? If you have time id like to see pics of that. Their choice of 235s in the rear kinda cought me off guard. I wonder why they chose that size. Do you know if that chart goes by stock wheel sizes?

Im actually not sure if they chart goes by stock wheels are just 17s in general, Im assuming they mean stock or something close to it. Im running wedsport SA90s. It really threw me off also, but I went ahead and went with that size anyways...just to experiement. I just had them put on yesterday so I'm sure about the handling yet. You would think they would suggest their 215/45/17 to match up with their 235...I really hope I don't end up regreting the purchase. Good thing about them is the 200 tread wear, if I don't like the size at least I know I will be changing them sooner then later!

Sweetmeat is right, it nearly brings it to an un staggered set up, like I said Im experimenting. I dont have any pics at the moment, but I'll try and get some soon.
The Amuse touge monster car runs an unstaggered set up if that means anything
I'm just giving Falken teh benefit of the doubt right now.
