Ax tire contact
Hey Team,
looking to get some feedback on my tire contact. Car felt great, I had considered dropping down to 28psi for a little more contact but I was focusing on my skills and less on the car and setting.
Really pleased with the new tires. Not something I was expecting but the ride comfort is great. Grip is obviously amazing and they gave great indications and warning when they where getting to their limit.
Front left tire. I ran 30psi front and rear. I’ll have to go back to find my alignment specs but I used RobRobs suggested settings.
Front left again, on the inside.
Rear left. My thumb is the farthest wear mark.
Rear left. You can see the contact pretty clear.

What's your tire size? Square 225?
What alignment spec? At stock height you can get at most -1.7 deg camber up front. Rear should be set around -2.0 to -2.3.
Your front tires should wear more than rear tires, because of less static camber, AND the front camber gain on compression is also less. In photo #1, front & rear wear look similar, so you're probably running too little rear camber.
To limit front camber wear, the only thing you can do in street class is use a bigger front sway bar to reduce roll.
My setup some years back (MY2002), running Dunlop Direzza ZIII tires:
- Front: -1.7* camber, 0 toe, 1.25" Gendron hollow bar on 4th hole.
- Rear: -2.0* camber, 0.15* toe in (0.30* total)
