Default Awkward tire setup?

Hey everyone. So I purchased my AP1 some weeks ago that already had AP2 v.1 wheels on it. Yesterday when washing my car my friend remarked how the tire setup looked awkward...kind of like a "big wheel." I stepped back and looked at it for awhile and he was right. The front tires look way bigger than the rears and look like they need to be reversed.

The fronts are is 235/45/17 and the rears are 245/40/17.

So should I swap the fronts to the back or is this current setup okay to keep until I change to the recommended sizes? Or is this an okay size combo for AP2 wheels on an AP1?

I'll try to snap some pics so you can see what I mean I apologize if this is a noob question lol

You can't swap wheels front to rear, the hub bore of the wheels are different sizes. Even if you could, you don't want a wider tire in front because that would result in considerable oversteer. You can probably get away with your current setup as long as you don't mind the look. When you get new tires, either get the 215/45, 245/40 combo or 225/45, 255/40. Both keep stock width stagger and are the same diameter.

Even 225/45-17 fronts with 245/40-17 rears gives a distinct "big fronts/little rears" look. 235/45-17 fronts are even bigger in both width and diameter.
So, yeah, that's an awkward-looking fitment. On top of the diameter difference, 235/45s bulge a LOT more on stock 7" front wheels than 245/40s do on stock 8.5" rears. Whoever picked those tires for the fronts didn't know what he was doing.

The only issue is cosmetic, though, and slightly more rear-biased brakes (no problem w/ ABS).

For stock AP2 wheels, the following fitments will work both functionally and aesthetically:
215/45-17 front, 245/40-17 rear (stock non-CR AP2 sizes, same diameter fronts/rears)
215/45-17 front, 255/40-17 rear (stock CR, slightly taller rears than fronts)
225/45-17 front, 255/40-17 rear (popular alternative, same diameter fronts/rears)

Thanks for input nate and ZDan!

Here's a pic just for reference, not sure if you can really tell here

Once I get some new tires I think I will opt for the 255/40 & 225/45 setup
