avg life of stock tires
#4
Somone did post the other day griping about having to replace them at 32,000 miles I'd say if you don't track, autocross, accelerate hard, etc. you might see 20K+, if you drive like me you'll be changing the rears evey 10K and the fronts every 13-15K. Where you live has some bearing as well, warmer temps and rougher pavement will cause much faster wear than cool smooth surfaces.
Cheers!

With no burn outs, winter hoops that take up a quarter of the mileage, n' 20 thou on the clock, I'm figurin' that I've got roughly 15 thou on my stock 'Stones.
I may not be the heaviest foot, but I don't baby it n' when I jus' took a look at my 'Stones (stacked out in the garage) they look like they, fronts n' rears both, have at least another 5 thou worth on 'em.
'S'funny though. I've never been thought of as easy on my tires before.
Who knows? Maybe I'm goin' pansy in my old age.
Be well.

Well, maybe I ain't godda get fitted for a pink tutu jus' yet. 'Took a closer look at my 'Stones n' while I might squeeze another one r' two thou out'a the fronts the rears r' due. 'Sorry 'bout the bad info, but they still got me 15 thou.
