Default ASM Wide Fenders... Wheel and Tire Choice

I would really like to be running 17" wheels with ASM FRONT fenders only (they don't make the rear bumper to fit the rear over fenders in FRP yet). So I'm looking at over a possible overall cost of doing this. I need to know what my options are for wheel and tire sizes to fill out the fenders. I've very new to the offset game so take it easy on me. It seems to me having the fenders up front will give me more choices in wheels because I can go with a lower offset. Is this correct? Or can you go with a same offset with deeper lip? As you can tell I need some help figuring this out. I'm sure I'll have a ton of questions! Thanks!

you can run something like

17x10 +30 to +45
17x9.0 +20 to +40

along those lines...

how wide do you want to be in the rear?
what wheels?

Which wheels I'm not sure. Thats why I needed to know what sizes to run so I can look. Can I run that wide of wheel in the back without having the rear over fenders? Tire sizes? Thanks.

You can have that wide of a rear in the back without over fenders but the offset will be in the 50's at the lowest...so that would mean your fronts could possible have more lip than the rears. Do you have any wheels that you are interested in?

With stock front fenders and ASM rears, you could do:

TE37
17x7.5 +50
17x9.0 +40 or +28
18x8.0 +50
18x9.5 +35

CE28
17x8.0 +44
17x10.0 +45
or
17x8.0 +44
17x9.5 +28/+35

Thanks for the info. Using the fenders brings the offset back to "real world" numbers for the most part correct? Will the exact type of wheel be a factor in what offsets will work?

I'm wanting ASM front fenders and no rear over fenders (still thinking about the rear overfenders).

I really like wheels that are concave. I've seen some Advan RGII's I really liked. Also SSR Type C RS are the same look. I like where it looks like its coming out at the top and changes direction and goes in. There is a good photo in someones sig or from a sponser I love. I'll see if I can find it and post it. I'm not finding a ton of information on this subject. Jim do you have any sudgestions?

Maybe something like this. Is it imporant to know exactly what brand/type of wheel I need. I thought I would just need to know the size and offset and go from there.
