Default AP2 Rim Refinishing Recommendations in NY

I am the original owner of my 2004 Suzuka Blue S2000 with 15000 miles. I have always done my service at my local Honda dealer who was great. 6 months ago I decided to replace all the rubber on my car: belts, hoses and tires. When I got the car back the rims had been damaged either in the mounting or balancing process. The dealer agreed to refinish them but when the car was returned to me it was obvious that the rims were refinished as the silvery grey painted portion of the rim was the wrong color. Otherwise the damage had been fixed. They then agreed to replace the rims with new rims from Honda. The even sent the rims/tires out to an independent shop for mounting and balancing to ensure that they weren't damaged. While I appreciate the fact that they did the right thing, the new rims from Honda are even worse. The painted portion is grey instead of silver and is very textured instead of smooth. I figured there was not much I could do. A few months later I found my rims up for sale on EBAY by the dealer and decided to buy them back. That was probably a stupid decision, but I just couldn't help myself. I wanted to my original car to to stay together.

So my question is where can I get my rims refinished to look like OEM near Long Island, NY? I believe the dealer used Wheel Fix It which I am obviously not going to use. I have read that Proformance in New Rochelle is really good. I have also seen recommendations for Al's Hubcaps in Mineola but the reviews are mixed. My car is as mint as you can get for a car that is actually driven and I really want the rims to look right. I have tried to find used 2004-2005 rims in mint condition and that has been impossible. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Or should I just give up on this?

post here next time for local advice: https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/forum/61-...-s2000-owners/

That said, buy some clean used take-offs from someone here. It's not like wheels have VIN numbers that need to match.
