Being able to rotate tires doesn't give greater average tire life. It just allows you to have all 4 reach end of life at the same time. If you insist on replacing all four even when only the rears are worn out, yeah that will cost you more $$. But if you just replace front or rear pairs as necessary, you'll have the same overall tire cost per mile staggered vs rotating a square setup and replacing all 4 at the same time.

Im running 255 square, front fenders are cut but not pulled.
Running 17*9 +62 TRM C3 wheels front. I dont notice any rubbing during autox

These wheels are being used by Prima Racing - campaigning an S2000 in the USTCC class. They switch to a smaller wheel for SCCA STU (due to wheels size restrictions for the class). Stock fenders - rolled and flared.
