How about 245/50. I run four ap1 rears on my car with 245/50/16 nt01's. Grrrrip monster. A 245 and a 255 are not that much different. Should work just fine. Here's a pic of a 255/50 drag radial on the same wheels.

They worked great. I ran a 7.90 in the eigth mile with them. I actually only made 6 passes on them as I broke my left rear axle on the last run. I actually have them for sale in the FI for sale forum. There awesome tires for any type of big power setup as they do not spin, especially when heated. The nt01's have almost as much grip though, If the mickey t's are a 10 the nt01's would be about 8.

Did you have any problems mounting the rear wheels on the front? I thought the front hub rings were slightly larger.

They are different, I had the hubs bored out to fit the rears on the front.

Were you able to find a ring so you can run them on the rear again if you need to rotate the tires?

I only bored two of the wheels. I don't really plan on rotating them as they'll wear out pretty fast. If I feel the need too I can just dismount them and move em around. I work on cars for a living so I have access to tire mounting equipment whenever I want.
