Tire Rack carries SSR Comps. I would like to know where to find SSR Type C's. Essentially the same rim as the Comp, just available in more colors and offsets than what Tirerack imports for the S2000. Gold, White, custom colors I think are also available through SSR of Japan.

 

same here...i wanted to buy these wheels about 2 months ago...tirerack.com doesnt have them in stock..at least a full set...SSR is currently undergoing an bankruptcy...so you have to wiat til i say next year

 

I have not heard any news on the alleged Tanabe take over of Speed Star Racing Wheels.

Until that happens, or some other company steps in to take over production, good luck finding any new wheels. (other than the limited stock on hand)

Any one out there have any reliable information on the SSR situation?

 

Talked to Jim. He said that they have been purchased but no additional info. It would be a couple of months.
