Thankfully, wheels are mounted correctly!
Went out with wire coat hanger and "hooked" rim from inside to measure width....
But anyone know of a different way to visually tell front from rear?

The wheel width should be stamped on the inside of the wheel. Also the rear wheel will not go on the front of the car because the hub on the front is larger than the rear. That is the best way to tell.
If an installer does switch them you will normally end up with the front wheel coming loose over time.

you'd know if they were mounted wrong, well and the rear wheel doenst fit right on the front lugs.
I actually had this happen to me, they mounted the front tires on the rear rims, and somehow got them mounted on the car. I had a nice shimmy driving at all speeds. Felt like the wheels were out of balance.
