Of couse this would depend on the tires, but still, generally speaking, do new tires need to be broken in for optimum grip. Are they a bit more slippery when new? etc? Thanks!

I generally give tires about 100 miles to scuff of the silicone release agents. After that I let it rip.

New tires are the best excuse to push it---
