any opinions on a 1/2 inch stagger??
For those who cannot achieve the ultimate 1 inch stagger akin to the oem wheels, what about 1/2 inch??
Several wheel combinations allow for a 1/2 difference from the front and back wheels. Is this like 'half as good'??
Opinions greatly appreciated from those who are running this kind of setup.
The reason i ask is because I'm trying to acquire a set of wheels with the following dimensions:
19x8 +45 offset w/ 225/35/19 tires in the back
18x7.5 +45 offset w/ 205/40/18 tires in front
1) I know for a fact that this setup will not come outboard by much and...
2) Pretty much won't rub under normal conditions.
I'll be the pioneer of this 'half-ass-stagger' if no one chimes in

ummm I think the oem front tire is 7.1 and the back is 8.5 so it is definitely much more than an inch. Most poeple seem to look at percentage for stagger for example the front tred width is 80 percent of the back. Your tire sizes seems kind of narrow and I think traction would be wose than stock. Good luck!

Thanks tinman,
Yeah its defintely going to be worse than stock- but what I'm curious is how much worse? I believe the only way to find that out is to ask people who are running this setup--- soooo any takers?

I went with 7.2" treadwidth front and 8.6" rear treadwidth
on RE750 which is 225/50/16 and 245/45/16.
Im hoping to achieve cornering characteristic of stock stagger ratio by compensation less gripy RE750 with 1.4" stagger ratio.
Hope it works. Will let you guys know.
