I am debating over ordering these wheels. I like the way they look on the car below. But my question is, is this particular car is lowered??

http://www.s2ki.ch/tuning/tss/tss09.jpg

Here are the specs of the wheel and tire package I would get

fronts: 18 x 8 et 48 225-40-18's

rears: 18 x 10 et 58 265-35-18's

If you have any suggestions or input please feel free to voice them.

Thanks

Looks like it's lowered, but also looks like it will rub.
Offsets look too low for my taste. Nice lip though!

Where are you getting these wheels? From what dealer? They look really nice.

Wow... now that's the nicest dish I've seen on a S2000!
I would love to know the offsets... I want that kind of dish when I order my HRE's..!

Again here are the specs of the wheels:

Fronts are 18 x 8 with a 48mm offset with a 225-40-18 inch tire.

Rears are 18 x 10 with a 58mm offset with a 265-35-18 inch tire.

I plan on lowering the car about 3/4 of an inch with either Eibach Pro-Kits or the H & R's or just buy Koni Yellows and drop the perch to the lowest notch and use factory springs.

I am buying them from an accessory shop in Tyler, TX. Not quite sure how much they are going to be but I will keep you informed. I asked about getting the wheels in 17" and was told that they were not available for the car. I think the wheels look great on the S. I am drawn to them because of the deep lip polished lip especally in the rear.

I think with +48/+58 offsets (front/rear) you should be fine with a 3/4" drop. I've got 18"s with +45/+55 and 1.4" drop with KG/mm Race springs, and I have NO rubbing/scratching etc.

BTW -- those are definitely nice rims!

Did some research...

18X8 weighs approximately 25.4 lbs (offset +45)

18X10 weighs approximately 26.2 lbs (offfset +58)

Wheel has an actual STAINLESS STEEL lip joined to a CAST (not forged) aluminum center.

They look beautiful, they fit - and then - they're heavy, cast and also expensive.
