Another Wheel Fitment question...
Disregarding actual wheel fitment on an S2000, let's think about wheel size in general.
Comparing a 17x8 +45 wheel (let's call this A) to a 17x9 +45 wheel (B), how much further would wheel B stick out VS wheel A when mounted to a hub?
From my understanding, I believe that wheel B would stick out approximately 12.7 (0.5 in) mm further than wheel A.
Since both wheels have the same offset, then the width of the wheel would determine how far the wheel will stick out.
Am I getting at this correctly?

12.7mm poke and 12.7mm closer to the strut.
