Default Another how to/will these fit?

I am looking into getting a custom set of wheels, and am trying to figure out what offsets to get. Here are the specs that I am looking at:

17 by 9.5 +49 Front
17 by 11 +49 Rear

Also would like recommendations for tires please. I am looking at a 275/40/17 for rear and maybe 245/40/17 for the front.

I can get higher offsets but I would like something that is somewhat aggressive. I will be dropped maybe 2 to 2.5 inches on Koni Yellows and Ground Control coilovers. I am going to get my fenders rolled and run some negative camber but I would like to know if that is all I need to do.

You are going to need more than a fender roll with those specs. That rear is going to stick out 2" more than stock and that doesn't even take into account the increased tire width. I don't understand why you need such wide wheels when you won't be able to run tires to take advantage of them. If you only want a fender roll and negative camber I would be looking at something like 9" +50 front and 10" +55 rear.

What about:
17 by 9.5 +50 Front
17 by 11 +55 Rear

How would those fit? Unfortunately for 17 inch rims the widths are the only thing that can't be customized. They come in 9.5" then 11".

those equate to 17x9 + 44 in the front and 17x9 +31 in the rear, you should be able to search around and find people with similar sizes. I am guessing you will need to roll your fenders + relocated bumper tab + run some less aggressive tires + camber... maybe 245/255 in the front and 265s in the rear

Or you could pull your fenders some and you could possibly run the size tires you want

Is that in response to my first post or my second post?

According to an equation I found about S2000 wheel fitiments and offsets is that they can handle up to 8.5" of backspacing and 4.25" of frontspacing. From my calculations a 17 by 11 +49 would be 8" of backspacing and 4" of front spacing, so technically it should fit with some minor fender mods.

I believe he was responding to your second post. I think you could make that front work, probably need a higher offset in the rear if you are set on a 275/40. A 11" +70 would still stick out over 1" further than stock.

yep second post, just trying to make it easier for you, a lot of people on here have 17x9 +45 in the front, and some have either 17x9 +30 in the rear or 17x9 +35 (more popular)... that way you can get a good estimation of what kind of work you will need and what size tires people have been able to fit (although on a 9" rim)

I have seen multiple people with 17 by 10/10.5 with sub 40 offsets. I really would like an 11" wide rim. I talked with Dan at CCW and he told me that a 17 by 11 +58 would fit with just a roll and maybe -3 degrees of camber.

As far as the front I think I am going with a 17 by 9.5 +51.

Just curious as to why you want to go so wide? Looks? Seems to me you would diminish performance with that wide of tire.

Traction man. 2 of my friends can't get traction on 9 inch wide wheels with decent tires. Putting down 450 hp you want something to keep you stuck to the pavement. I am actually looking at a 17 by 8 +40 front and 17 by 10 +48 rear with 235/40/17 front and 275/40/17
