Oh, ok. I stand corrected. So the fronts on my car are 7". I just got my car 2 weeks ago. I am still learning. Well that presents a problem. I really want these wheels, but I want to be sure they will fit correctly.

Do your 17x8 wheels stick out? If so how much?

Umm, sorry, I left out a detail - the rubbing happened during an autocross with race-compound tires. My gf has her own set of 17" Volks with street tires, and she hasn't had any issues.

My experience with race tires and high cornering/braking forces is probably skewing my perception, sorry.

the 17X8 fits perfect. looks very good with pushing the wheel out more towards the fenderwall.

So it's pretty flush? I just don't want them to stick out too far. For this price I want them to look and fit right.

I don't know the exact weight, but I did pick up one front wheel and one rear wheels and they were both extremely light. Don't know the build quality though

Here is a WHEEL OFFSET CALCULATOR. This should help you determine the correct offset as you widen the wheel to keep the center of the rim in the same relationship to the rest of the suspension. It will also give you the dimensions of the clearances to other suspension components.
