Default ANGSTROM WHEELS, new wheel company, custom offsets.

hello all,

my buddies have finally opened up their wheel mfg company, ANGSTROM WHEELS. They make some ultra high quality wheels. they are a 2pc forged design, and they look sweet.

for the s2000, i am looking to get the wheels in this size and offset:

18X8 front with 55mm offset
18X9 rear with 65mm offset

can't ask for much better than that!

dj,

I am really interested in these. I spent some time last night searching for info on the wheels. I ended up on audiworld.com. I am sure you know the story. Anyway, how do I get in contact with someone so I can order some?

PM sent

the only place you can currently buy them is through SPP, one of their dealers. the prices are:

18X8 - 55mm offset $735
18X9 - 65mm offset $745

there is NO discounting on these wheels, as they sell at MSRP only.

please contact SPP with any product questions!

Stock 16" wheels are 6.5" width with 55mm offset... Therefore wouldn't the 18x8 front you're looking at stick out an additional half inch or so? I think you'd want at least a 60mm offset in the front...

nope, that offset is perfect. you want it to stick out a bit more than stock to fill out the well a bit more. nothing like a nice late model mustang look.... no offense to any mustang owners out there.

I just got back from SPP. I saw the 15 Spoke wheels in black with a polished lip. They were 19's or 20's, to go on a G35. They looked sweet. I wish I could get a lip like those ones have. They were like 3.5" in the back. I spoke with Eric @SPP, (cool guy). The wheels seemed extra light. Like real light, but I didn't have anything to compare them to.

My notes show the stock '04 front wheels are 7.0" wide with a 55mm offset. With the same offset and an inch wider, I think that means the Angstrom wheels would stick out a half inch further?

My 17" Volk CE28Ns are 7.5" wide with 60mm offset, and I got some rubbing until with went to stiffer shocks and springs.
