Alignment: Tire Wear (Toe)

Alignment: Tire Wear (Toe)
This is an important question because I just obliterated a set of expensive rear RE01R's in 6000km (3750 mi.) due to very excessive toe-in. Please only answer if you're 100%.. no speculation please.. or at least make it based on experience.
My Honda user's manual shows that rear toe for 2005 (AP2) should be 0.15" (3.7 mm), which is roughly 5/32".
Is this the rear toe-in that should be dialed into each side (left & right), or is it the sum of left and rear toe? If it's the sum then each side should be dialed in at half of 5/32", namely 5/64" (0.078125").
When you get an alignment the technician prints a report for you and it shows the toe at each side, then it also shows the total toe, which is the sum of both sides.
Toe that is off by anything equal to or greater than 1/16" can speed up tire wear.. trust me.
My toe was set in equal on the right and the left at 1/4", bringing total toe to 1/2".
It's not even safe to drive with this much toe in because over bumps when one tire would lose contact with the ground the other tire would project the car along it's parallel; 1/4" into the car.
Let me know so I can get this guy to buy me new tires!

No one knows for sure if the Honda rear toe specification in our user's manual (for AP2; AP1 is different) is 0.15" for each rear side, or 0.15" total, so 0.075" per side? (BTW, 0.15" is 5/32")
Toe is so important for tire wear (much more important than camber), that I thought more people would know.
Thanks again.

I just spoke with Honda and the TOTAL rear toe is 0.15" (3.7mm) or 5/32". So ideally you should aim to put half of this at each side, 0.075" at the rear left, and 0.075" at the rear right.
It just seems weird that the other specs listed in the manual would be per tire, but not toe-in. Unless it's supposed to be 1.5 degrees of total rear camber...

What toe settings should I be using?
Lowered with kg/mm, running on 225/40/18 and 255/35/18.
HORRIBLE camber wear at the front. Fronts almost toast in 1000km. Mechanic did a test and the toe is wayyy off.
