Alignment Issue? Or something else.
Hey guys. I need some help on determining what I should do. Let me describe the problem.
Got new tires, Fuzion ZRI 245/45/16. The old one I had was yoko es100 225/50/16 (I know wrong size), anyways the wear on the tire was mainly in the middle of the tires. Well when I first got the fuzion tires, the steering was stiff and stable and felt great. Well lately I have been noticing that its a bit more sensentive when I hit a bump and what not. Or taking a turn, it doesn't feel like it should be. It should feel stiff and what not. Anyways, I'm wondering if the alignment is off or something that would effect the contact patch so when I'm taking a turn, I'm not getting full contact patch.
Or could it be caused by air pressure? The alignment is pretty good when I'm going straight. It doesn't pull to either side. Any comments or help would be appreciated

Changing you rear tires really shouldn't have a whole lot of affect on your steering 'feel'.
What tires are you running on the front and what are your pressures all around?
Wear in the middle of the tire generally indicates overinflation.
Is your suspension stock?
Without more information no one can really assist you.
Assuming you have the correct tire sizes on the front...
Set all your pressures to 32 PSI and get the car aligned would be my advice without knowing any more info.

It sounds like your tires are overinflated. Your car will feel floaty and kind of strange if this is the case. Also, unusual center wear is a pretty clear sign of overinflation. Adjust your pressure, and you should be fine.
