ADVAN RS FITMENT

Excellent question. I was in on the Advan RSII group buy and ordered a set in 17x9.5+35 with the intent of fitting 255/40/17 tires. Front fenders will be Downforce, but I would like to fit the rears on the stock body.

That fitment should work pretty easy. With a little massaging up front, you could fit a little wider tire as well. We routinely fit 17x9 +45s up front with 245 or 255s with a good roll and some camber.
As someone said, camber isn't what kills tires, Toe is.
Let me know if I can help.

This will fit with a solid roll and slight pull plus relocating the bumper tab and cutting the old one off or rolling it up. I'm lowered on espilirs with 17x9.5+38 and 255s in rear with no rubbing at all. Camber is at -3.5

As usual, the S2Ki hivemind has good information. I assume how much rear negative camber I need to not rub will be determined by how high/low I set the ride height to?

But would the 17x9 +29 RS's work on the rears with 255/40 tire on OEM camber and a 1.5 inch drop WITH the rear quarterpanels cut and ASM rear overfenders installed? I really like the ASM overfender look in the rear. Hahaha.

Nichigo's set up with the TEs looks wonderful. But if you all say it's toe that I should worry about, then I guess I shouldn't be too worried about camber then. I drive my S when the snow all melts till usually Thanksgiving. MI weather sucks A few woots here and there but normally just cruising.
Sweeet!!! BTW, your S is freaken BA!
