Its actually the same outer fitment up front between the two options and the 9+63 in the rear is actually 5mm less aggressive fitment then the narrower 8.5. Both can fit without rolling depending on tire width choice, but your really better off running the wider rim option to get a better looking and fitting with more performance oriented contact patch, with less tire pinch on 225/255 tire widths. That's what id do if these were my two options, without hesitation.

I am planning to reuse my old tire (oem size) for now, since I still have a good 80% left on it. Not fender rolling!!! Possibly going 225/255 in the future.
As far as driving you should get a little better performance and better breaking performance since u have less rotating mass.
