? about tire pressure with after market wheels.
Do you go by the vehicle manufacturer suggested tire pressure or the tire manufacture when using after market wheels and tires?

after just recently searching for this i can tell you this, the oem psi is a good starting point. jim at tirerack made a great post, the psi reccomendation is based on the weight of the car, not on what kind of tire is on it.
start there and work in 2psi increments up or down to fine tune.

You should always use the vehicle specified PSI ratings. Regardless of wheel/tire size and combination, you should always follow that.

I wouldn't increase tire pressure just because of an increased size necessarily. At one point I tried this, but ended up wearing out the center of the contact patch of the tire because it was too high ( 36 PSI on 265-35-18). I wouldn't personally suggest anyone trend up PSI ratings just because of an aftermarket set up.
