Default A048 vs. RS-3 Difference in Size & Fitment?

I was wondering if anyone could comment on, preferably from in-person experiences, what the difference my tire fitment will be if I switch from my current RS-3's to Advan A048's or any comparable R-Comp tire (I'll even go for slicks).

I've always wanted to run a full R-Comp tire. I know that the RS-3's are already on the wider side in its category, but the 255/35/17's I have on my 10" wheels still have a nice amount of stretch to them. I basically need to maintain this stretch and sidewall profile to clear the rear fenders. With -2.5* of camber, the rears compress perfectly but the fender room is very minimal.

I'm worried that if I switch to A048's (or Nitto NT01s) that I will start rubbing in the rear. Here's a picture of my current setup with RS-3's for reference.

Any insight will be appreciated!

Well the correct size for the s2000 is 255/40/17 not 255/35/17. I am not sure if there is a huge difference between any of those.

The only compound of the A048 available in the US is medium compound. That tire is over 10 years old now and the R-S3 will be faster around a track while costing much less.

As far as fitment- if you dont rub with R-S3 you should be fine with the others.
