i found an awesome deal for a pair ( right front/right rear) 2007 wheels and im wondering if its not such a bad idea to use the replicas on the left. do you guys think the weight difference will effect the balance a lot?
what if i use one replica and one real one on the left and vice versa on the right?

My guess is that not only do they save money on the metal, process, and R&D/QA of the wheel but also on Paint and the final coat. Depending on the clear (If any) it will chip more easily.

Perfect example is someones front bumper resprayed and chipped with in months instead of years like the original would have been. Poor prep/no flex or not up to par paint would do it. Happened to my buddy.

Well considering the entire point of making replicas is to not have to pay the r&d, I wasn't all that worried about the functionality of it. I didn't expect it to be better of even as good as oem.

By the looks of the wheel up there it seems like they skimmed on the metal which is pretty scary.
The fact that they chose that one to display on their website tells me they don't care all that much about quality.

Sucks. I was really hoping to get some v3s for cheap. You rarely see those for sale unless they're cr wheels an they cost enough to get some really nice aftermarket wheels.

I don't see anything missing either....
Plus it's really not about the weight but about how strong the metal is...most likely those will weight in about 2-3 lbs heavier

I recently bought a set of the AP2V1 replicas through ebay myself. I got them for what I think is a great deal of $350 plus $70 for shipping. I went with the original stock sizes. They just arrived yesterday and the first thing I did was to weigh them at the post office. The fronts came out to 18.95 lbs and the rears are 21.78 lbs. Close enough to stock weight for me

I should mention that I weighed the wheels without center caps or valve stems but the plastic edge guards were still on them.
