I don't agree with using 8" for front. Isn't 7" better for a 215 tire? I also once owned the ASA FR1 8" front with 225 tire - some rubbing with aggressive driving and stock height. 225 will fit on the 7" as well but I don't recommend it.

 

Using the 8" front wheel:

1. 215 tire fits great....no issues at stock ride height or lowered.

2. I'm confused by your post.....you don't recommmend the 8" wheel, you don't recommend the 8" wheel with a 225 tire because of rubbing, and you don't recommend the 7" wheel with a 225 tire........I agree with you in not going with the 225 tire.....but what are you saying....??

The 215/45/17 mounted on the 8" wheel will be great & have no issues / fit great. Lowered or not.

3. He mentioned that he was looking to use the "Kumho MX" tire.........the link below shows that the acceptable rim width for the 215/45/17.......it is safely between 7"-8"........

Bridgestone also states that a 215 tire width is acceptable on an 8" wheel if you were to look at their site regarding S0-3 tire fitment.

I'm really liking the looks of those wheels, and I see the fitment is great. How much of a drop did you get with the KGMM's? That drop looks good. How's the ride? I was looking at Eibach's because of a supposed softer ride.
